KLH Aziz Nagar, Hyderabad, successfully hosted a hands-on workshop titled “Build with AI using Google Cloud” in collaboration with Google Developer Groups (GDG) recently. Organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering,
the event received special support from Mr. Aarshad Devani, Senior Software Engineer & GDG Hyderabad Lead, and Mr. Siv Ram Shastri Jonnalagadda, GDG Cloud Organizer. The workshop witnessed active participation from students and faculty, offering a unique platform to explore AI-driven technologies and real-world applications.
Participants gained practical exposure to integrating external data with Google Gemini using advanced frameworks such as Model Context Protocol (MCP), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Intelligent Data Collection (IDC). The sessions focused on real-time data integration, intelligent retrieval system development, and scalable AI solutions powered by Google Cloud. Through interactive modules and project-based learning, participants developed context-aware applications capable of solving complex industry challenges.
The event featured distinguished GDG speakers, including Mr. Jay Thakkar, Team Lead & Product Manager – AI, who demonstrated MCP integration and developed custom VM authentication for secure AI data interactions.
