SiMa.ai, a leader in Physical AI, and Mistral Solutions, a subsidiary of AXISCADES and a leader in embedded systems and drone product engineering, successfully showcased their strategic partnership at the Drone International Expo 2026, held in New Delhi.
At the event, the companies demonstrated SiMa.ai’s recently launched agentic environment, Palette Neat, co-optimized with its Modalix MLSoC platform. The solution serves as the foundation for an intelligent multi-sensor drone reference design aimed at accelerating the development and deployment of autonomous AI-powered drones.
By combining SiMa.ai’s advanced Physical AI platform with Mistral’s expertise in drone hardware design and embedded systems engineering, the partnership offers drone OEMs and system integrators a validated pathway to bring next-generation autonomous drones to market faster.
The showcased industrial-grade reference design is optimized for size, weight, and power (SWaP) requirements, enabling extended flight times and efficient performance for mission-critical edge deployments. The platform supports advanced sensor fusion, GPS-denied navigation, obstacle detection, onboard AI inference, and agentic mission planning, all operating locally without cloud dependency.
