Trellix has announced Vishal Rao has been appointed to succeed Bryan Palma as the company’s next CEO.

His strong customer focus, global experience, and proven history of driving innovation uniquely qualifies him to lead Trellix into the future. We are looking forward to partnering with Vishal and the team to drive the company’s next phase of growth.”
Rao joins Trellix from STG portfolio company Skyhigh Security, and will lead both Trellix and Skyhigh Security with a focus on accelerating the companies’ market share globally. He brings a track record leading software companies through multidimensional transformation resulting in material growth milestones and successful IPOs. This background spans almost three decades of experience with market leading security, cloud, and software-as-a-service companies including Splunk, Cloudera, and Snow Software.

Rao succeeds Palma, who has been the Trellix CEO since 2021. Palma plans to remain an STG advisor and help through the transition.
